Delivery & Returns FAQs
We ship all our UK orders by Royal Mail Tracked. As a standard we use a 48 hour tracked service however you can choose to expedite the delivery at checkout by choosing the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. In most cases deliveries do arrive on time but it should be noted Royal Mail do not guarantee the delivery time.
Unfortunately we are not able to guarantee delivery times as no carriers provided a guarantee. We only use tracked services so you are able to see your delivery as it moves through the system to your delivery address.
Our warehouse is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. If you place an order outside of our opening hours your parcel will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders are sent to our warehouse immediately and typically dispatched within 2 hours. Once dispatched you will receive a notification with your tracking details. On occasions the tracking number may not be sent until the end of the day of dispatch.
Yes, you will receive tracking information when your product dispatches. You can use the link to follow your delivery through the Royal Mail system or use the Shop app to track the delivery. Our team uses the same tracking information so it is best to check this before contacting us.
The tracking will include a photograph of the delivered product. If you have asked for the item to be put in a safe place or given specific instructions, please check that location first. If you are unable to locate the product we would then ask you to check with any neighbours. Please note if Royal Mail have delivered to the safe place or your specified location (and they have photographic evidence) they will not compensate if the item is lost or stolen. If your delivery address is a shared area and your own property doesn’t have a location to deliver to, Royal Mail will not compensate for lost or stolen items.
If you don’t believe the item has been delivered to your address and the Royal Mail photographic evidence is not available or shows a different location, then please contact our customer service team on hello@wearetide.com. After 10 days we are able to make a claim to Royal Mail and once approved we can send a replacement item.
If we believe it is theft, it will be reported to the police so we have a crime reference number and you may be contacted directly by the authorities.
UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail and you can track your delivery via the link on the dispatch confirmation email. You are also able to choose a safe place or specific location for the delivery if you are not going to be home.
Unfortunately for health and safety reasons we are not able to allow warehouse collections.
